Res2Cat

A php/MySQL based tool set for assigning Research Results represented by academic publications to multiple, tree-structured categories. The underlying data structure allows differentiated analysis of research categories with respect to publication types, years, and authors.

The database provides bibliographical data of In addition it provides
  • author specific publication listings
  • as well as a differentiated terminological framework for multi-dimensional classification of research

This tool served as foundation for a publication analysis conducted in the context of the IFWIS research project from 2005 to 2010 at the Research Group Enterprise Modelling, Prof. Dr. Ulrich Frank, University Duisburg-Essen, Germany.
